Barbell Fury is CrossFit San Ramon’s dedicated strength and Olympic lifting program. Led by Head Coach Tim Hill (CF-L3, USAW), each session is built around barbell mastery — clean technique, progressive overload, and structured programming that delivers measurable strength gains.
Whether you’re chasing a new back squat PR or learning your first snatch, Barbell Fury gives you the focused coaching and programming that general CrossFit classes can’t. Available to athletes in San Ramon, Danville, Dublin, Pleasanton, and the greater Tri-Valley area.
What You’ll Train
Clean & Jerk
The king of Olympic lifts. Build explosive power from floor to overhead with precise technique coaching.
Snatch
The most technical barbell movement. Develop speed, mobility, and coordination in one lift.
Back Squat
The foundation of lower-body strength. Progressive overload programming to build your base.
Deadlift
Raw pulling power. Strengthen your posterior chain with proper mechanics and smart loading.
Bench Press
Upper-body pushing strength. Structured sets and accessory work for balanced development.
Overhead Press
Strict and push press variations. Build shoulder stability and pressing power that transfers everywhere.

Warm-Up
10 minBarbell-specific mobility, activation drills, and empty-bar technique primers.
Technique Drills
15 minPositional work, complexes, and cue-driven practice at moderate loads.
Working Sets
20 minProgrammed strength work at prescribed percentages. Progressive overload tracked over weeks.
Accessory Work
10 minTargeted supplemental exercises to address weaknesses and build balanced strength.
